Kate Herron is the Director of Marketing at Experience Grand Rapids. She has been employed with ExperienceGR for five years and has been the Director of Marketing for four months. What made interviewing Kate so personal and easy to identify with is that she is an alumna of Grand Valley State University.
Krys Bylund is the Marketing Director for the John Ball Zoo, where she has worked for the last 16 years. I was excited to talk to Krys for two reasons. Firstly, one of my favorite things to do during the summer is to go the zoo and practice my photography skills. Secondly, Krys has a lot of experience, meaning that she had a lot of helpful insights that I now get to share here.
Perspectives on PR is a project run by three students from Grand Valley State University for our "PR Management and Cases" course. The goal of this project is to gain insight into various fields of Public Relations by interviewing professionals and learning from their experiences.
